This page explains what NutriBuddy collects, why, and the choices you have. It is maintained by the app owner.

1. What we collect

Account: mobile number, optional email, name.
Health profile: age, gender, height, weight, waist, primary goal, conditions, allergies.
Daily logs: food, activity, water, weight that you record.
Photos: images you choose to scan for food recognition.
Technical: basic device and browser info needed to run the app.

2. How we use it

Only to run the app for you: personalise your calorie & macro targets, log your day, show trends, and generate nutrition insights. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. AI processing

When you describe a meal or upload a food photo, we send that text/image to an AI model to recognise items and estimate nutrition. We don't include your name, mobile or email in those requests beyond what's needed to fulfil them.

4. Storage & security

Your data is stored on a managed cloud database with row-level security so that only your account can read your rows. Connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong device passcode.

5. Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual entries (food, activity, water) at any time from the dashboard. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact the app owner.

6. Your choices

Email and allergy fields are optional.
You can edit your profile and recompute your calorie target at any time.
You can sign out from the profile screen.

7. Children

NutriBuddy isn't intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact the app owner so the account can be removed.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
